Bulgarian Association of Business Angels has been awarded for „The most promising business angel network of South East Europe” on World Business Angels investment forum this year. The WBAF 2016, masterfully organized by TBAA – the Turkish Business Angel Association chaired by EBAN Vice President Baybars Altuntas, became a meeting point for more than 300 attendees coming from 48 different countries. The forum took place in Istanbul on 21,22 and 23 February.
World Business Angels Investment Forum brought together the best European SME, public and corporate early stage market players currently working in collaboration to ease the access to finance for SMEs and entrepreneurs. The forum also introduced new collaborations between SME’s, entrepreneurs and public organizations to address equity gap challenges and solutions.

Bulgaria took part in a panel on „How to connect the early stage investment markets of South East Europe with the global markets” discussing the challenges and intention of the countries in the region.
